GreenMec is the innovative toggling for wet leather. The hides are put in tension with special toggle clips that lock them to the frame without drilling them. These frames slide through rails suspended from outside to the inside of the drying chamber (called tunnel) where the hides are dried by new-generation pellet heater system. In fact they lead to a saving up of 40% compared to a normal heating system. The GreenMec folding frames are in micro-perforated metal to facilitate the coupling of the skins on both sides.
One of the peculiarities of this patent was to divide the single perforated panel into 6 distinct parts. In fact, by expanding they allow the skins to be stretched evenly, increasing the volume by 8% compared to all the rest of the toggling machine in the market.
